The CIVAS activity
Our story
CIVAS began its activities in 1956. Since then, we have consistently pursued our mission: to combine the tradition of fine Italian tailoring with the economic advantages of industrial production.
Our production is primarily focused on women’s coats and outerwear (jackets, coats, raincoats, etc.). Choosing to specialize in this market niche has proven successful, supporting the company’s continuous growth, which today produces over 500 garments per day.
In recent years, production has expanded with Pluvex, a sportswear line for men and women aimed at a more selective clientele attentive to trends.
Our products are distributed through some of the most prestigious chains in Italian, European, and international retail. We are present throughout the European market, particularly in France, where we have had a showroom in Paris since 1974.
In 1988, we also signed a significant distribution agreement with a well-known Japanese department store chain, thereby establishing CIVAS’s presence in this strategic market.
We firmly believe that, even in our sector, new technologies can significantly contribute to improving product quality.
Our passion for fabrics and artisanal attention to detail is integrated with the use of automated CAD-CAM-CID cutting systems and extensive computerization, supporting both the creativity of our pattern makers and the control of production processes.
Tech 4.0
CIVAS is an Industry 4.0 company, as it embraces the concept of digitalized, automated, and interconnected production, resulting in optimized consumption and performance, energy savings, and improved environmental and workplace quality, with a forward-looking approach focused on sustainability.
